Requirements for the Webquest Assignment
3850, Fall, 2003

Professors Considine, Horton, & Moorman

You should carefully follow the directions/suggestions on the Building Blocks for WebQuests page (http://projects.edtech.sandi.net/staffdev/buildingblocks/p-index.htm). In grading the assignment we will look at the following:

  1. Introduction: A carefully worded, but generally brief, statement of the purpose and overall “Big Question” for your Webquest. This must be written for the student.
  1. Task: A statement of what the students will be doing, in general terms.
  1. Process: The specific steps, the “scaffolding,” that students will follow to complete the task.
  1. Evaluation: The criteria that will be used to grade content and performance.
  1. Conclusion: A statement that includes a summary of the activity, a reflection on what should have been learned, and suggestions for extended the learning beyond this Webquest.
All Webquests must have a minimum of five links to interesting and related websites as part of the overall activity.
