You have been assigned a term from the introduction of Other People’s Words. Using three different references (journal, internet, or written text) write a one-page, word-processed, double-spaced explanation of that word or phrase. What are the origins of that term? How is it used in education and society? What does this mean to you as a future teacher? What is the power of this particular word or phrase? How is your word or phrase used in chapter one? On a separate page, be sure to cite your references.

Part II

This will be done in class on September 9th. You are now the expert of this word or phrase and will be explaining it to a small group. Be sure to bring your one page assignment to class to assist you in your explanation.
